The law will come into effect on October 1 , 2024 – what should we expect?
From now on, the application of the law on tobacco products will be extended to electronic cigarettes and their derivative products, with or without nicotine.
This regulation aims to protect minors in particular, but also consumers, by systematically verifying the buyer's identity (in stores or online) and restricting advertising. Labeling will also be standardized, and product information leaflets will be translated into the country's three official languages to provide greater clarity on product warnings.
The introduction of the tax will therefore only be applied to products containing nicotine, the content of which must not exceed 20 milligrams per millilitre.

We will no longer be able to add nicotine to your products as we have done until now. Nicotine sales will be limited to small 10ml bottles of neutral base, containing 20mg/ml of nicotine in booster form.
In short: when you add one nicotine booster to a standard 50ml bottle of e-liquid, you get 60ml at 3mg, two boosters give you 70ml at 6mg, and so on. We also supply 120ml bottles and larger for preparing your own mixes.
A new law means a new tax. This will be levied at CHF 2 per 10ml booster (0.20 cents per ml of nicotine) . The tax will increase depending on the nicotine dosage requested.
Some of our products will soon be limited, while we find similar alternatives or adapt the containers and packaging accordingly.
